Will every player eventually have their own tactical digital twin?

Football is a game of decisions made in fractions of a second.
Every player constantly chooses between multiple options: pass, dribble, shoot, or reposition.
But what if players could train their decision-making using AI before those moments even happen?
With modern tracking data, cameras, and sensors, AI can recreate every situation on the pitch and simulate thousands of possible outcomes.
This allows the creation of a “tactical digital twin” for each player: a virtual model that analyzes positioning, passing options, and probabilities of success.
For example, a midfielder receiving the ball between the lines might have three options.
AI can analyze thousands of similar scenarios and show which action has the highest probability of progressing the attack.
Over time, players begin to recognize patterns faster and make better decisions under pressure.
AI does not replace instinct. It trains instinct through data and simulation.
Today, humans train AI and teach it how to improve.
Tomorrow, AI might train humans and help them improve their decision-making on the pitch, physical abilities, tactical and technical qualities!
